Kiwatu and the Land of Giants, Chapter 30 (FINALE)Kiwatu and the Land of Giants, Chapter 30 (FINALE) by DeethIrteen
Kiwatu couldn't feel or see anything. Once again, he was engulfed in complete darkness Did he win? Was Yggdo gone? Was he still alive? Kiwatu felt tears stream down his eyes. Even if he won, he'd never see Ynn again. It was all over for him...
That voice. It was Tembo. But where was it coming from? Kiwatu looked around, trying to find the source. But he couldn't open his eyes to see.
"Can you hear me, Kiwatu?"
"I can hear you..." Kiwatu answered. "...Am I dead?"
"You still live, Kiwatu." He felt a warm presence allover his body. A great, white light appeared overhead. "Open your eyes."
Kiwatu suddenly felt as though he was laying on his back on a soft surface. He sat up, opening his eyes to look around. As he adjusted to his surroundings, Kiwatu found himself seated on Tembo's palm.
It was a bright morning. Tembo was seated in her place between the northern mountains. Beyond that, the once mighty tower of black stone was reduced to rubble. Yggdo's draconic form was nowhere

Darkness. Icy, formless darkness. How long had Kiwatu been falling in this darkness? Why hadn't he landed in a stomach, like he had so many times before? Why couldn't he hear a heartbeat, or Yggdo's breathing? It was like he wasn't even falling anymore...
And then, Kiwatu realized something; he wasn't falling. He was laying on his back, with his eyes shut tight. As he opened his eyes, he found he was laying in a cold, black box. Kiwatu sat up, pushing the top of the box away. Kiwatu sat in a familiar, grey chamber.
"Where am I?" Kiwatu wondered. "Why am I here? Where IS here?"
The scent of soot filled his nostrils. As he sniffed the air, everything came back to him. The black box, the hexagonal patterns, the columns...
"This is where I first woke up." Kiwatu declared. "But, what am I doing here?"
"I just thought I'd give you a bit of a reminder..." Yggdo's voice said
Kiwatu gasped. He immediately drew a dagger from his belt, glaring.
"When we first met, you were all alone in a big, col

Kiwatu scrambled for the front of the maw as it came to life. Part of the floor broke away, becoming slick and slippery. Water dripped from up above, thickening as it plummetted. The golden light at the back of the throat grew brighter and hotter.
"After all these years imprisoned in that dreadful tower, I'm FREE!"
Ynn limped beside Kiwatu as they rushed along. The lower jaw moved wider and faster as Yggdo cackled around them. Ynn forced Kiwatu up onto her back as she took off into a run. Kiwatu could only struggle and gasp as Ynn leaped out into the air. She managed to flap her wings to keep herself from plummeting. In the few seconds they had to flee, Kiwatu looked back at the black formation.
Golden light shined through the entire structure. Black stone cracked away, revealing bright, golden scales behind. Massive wings broke apart from the lower section, rising upwards and spreading out incredibly wide. Black rocks broke away form the head, leaving behind a crown of ten mighty horn

Kiwatu couldn't believe his eyes. He stepped slowly closer, trembling with caution.
"Ynn...?" He said again. "Are you okay...?"
Ynn turned to look at Kiwatu, rumbling lowly as she regained her composure. She flappped her new wings and shook her tail, testing them out. Her eyes met Kiwatu's as he stopped before her. She murred lowly as Kiwatu patted her forehead. Her forehead emblem had stopped glowing. Despite her new appearance, Ynn was still as welcoming as she'd ever been.
The walls of light died away, revealing a view of the world again. The sky had grown dark as a thick sheet of stormclouds covered the sky as far as the eye could see. Kiwatu acknowledged them briefly, before turning towards the glowing beacen of light in the center of the recesses.
"Are you there, Yggdo?"
"Yes, child." She chuckled. "You've freed my spirit from this stone prison. All that remains is awakening my body."
"Far to the north, just beyond Tembo's throne, you will find a tall, black structur
